Modifications:
I tapped into the exhaust mode selection circuit in the fuse panel and wired it to a Magnetic Ride Selection switch from a vert which happens to fit in the same tombstone on the console.  The result is an OEM looking switch that is very handy when you don't want to hear the drone in 6th gear.  I decided to do it this way because I was unhappy with the idea of having to use a remote control to actuate the exhaust (Mild to Wild) which also has been known to drain the battery.

I also installed C6 fangs.

The previous owner had the iSimple Gateway installed which supposedly works well with the factory stereo system.

Video Proof of Concept:
I work for a company that makes test and measurement equipment and since I had some spare hardware lying around, I made a CompactRIO system running LabVIEW to communicate with the ECU as well as log performance parameters, GPS position, and acceleration.  This was my entry into a science fair at work just to show what could be done with our stuff.  This kit would cost you ~$20K for hardware and software if you paid retail, so, no it is not for sale.  But if you are interested in what I did, feel free to contact me.

Example of my automotive passion:
2001 Toyota MR2 Spyder w/ Rotrex Supercharger

Additional Information about the mechanical status of the car:
-Engine Build Code: 10ZLD322591603
-Tires: Michelin Pilot Sport Cups are nearly new and were installed using a Hunter Auto34 (the only one in central Texas) to avoid scratching the rims
